Some of you may know, some of you may not know...I work for a Hospital. The "38th best place to work" in the nation, so we're told....I'm here to tell you that this title is complete and total bullshit. The rules at this place are some of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard of...I had to file for family/medical leave to go be with my mom during her cancer surgery...
Today...to basically top off the whole shit-sandwich...I was told that my shift is being switched...from 7:30-4 to 8-4:30....now...sure..it's 30 mins. But, because of that 30 mins, it'll add around another 20 mins on my drive to and from work...so...I'll get to sit through traffic twice as much now...also...because I do the work of a person and a half...and more work than anyone I work with...(I'm not talking shit about any of you people that I work with if you read this) But, I do that much work and I get "demoted". When I sent a message to my supervisor about how I thought it was shit that I am getting the shaft and how I felt about it...she sent this response back to me. "This decision was based on business need, no one is being punished for anything" Are you freaking kidding me???? I know I'm not being punished for anything...I didn't do anything wrong...But, I am getting shafted by this bullshit company for working my ass off...
Needless to say...if anyone knows of any job openings...let me know...because I'm ready to leave this place and hope they get a nice look at my caboose on the way out...(My butt's not bad)
